Gary Neville has now shared his verdict on the best atmosphere between Scottish giants Celtic and Glasgow Rangers.
Neville visited both clubs during his playing days with Manchester United, a decorated era led by Sir Alex Ferguson.

And whilst both Celtic and Gers enjoy excellent home crowds, Neville was pretty certain on which experience hit home the most.
Of course, both Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic and Philippe Clement’s Rangers will hope to lean on their home fans in the coming months.
The old rivals are locked in a heated title-race this season, with Rangers’ win over Aberdeen last night drawing the two level.
Todd Cantwell’s goal was enough to overcome a buoyed Aberdeen side under newly-appointed Neil Warnock.
Bojan Miovski’s equaliser was eventually rendered redundant, and Rangers joined Celtic on 58 points after 24 games played.
And given his words on the ‘Stick to Football’ podcast, perhaps Gary Neville considers Rangers to have a slight advantage over rivals Celtic.
Gary Nevile says Rangers’ atmosphere edged Celtic’s in the past
Neville described his trip to Ibrox as ‘staggering’, even if he did also think a lot of his visit to Celtic Park.
Speaking on the podcast, Neville said: “The best atmosphere I have ever seen in my life was at Ibrox.

“As the game was about to kick off I thought what is this? Celtic was loud and Galatasaray was loud but honestly for the first couple of minutes I had never seen anything like it in my life.
“It was unbelievable. Staggering.”
Of course, Neville may have even wished to experience what such an atmosphere would be like as a Rangers player.
Although, it would have seemingly taken a lot to tempt one-club Neville away from Old Trafford, a dying breed of player.
And when deciding whether he preferred Rangers’ or Celtic’s or another club’s atmosphere, you can trust that Neville had a large sample size.
But stadium talk aside, Celtic do now have an important match to negotiate against Hibernian tonight.
And Brendan Rodgers is expected to make three changes for the game.
