Manchester United legend and now Sky Sports pundit, Gary Neville, has said that Manchester City have the best two right backs in the country at the moment.
A lot has been made of the right-back situation at the moment, especially when it comes to England. Neville was involved in a passionate exchange with Jamie Carragher this week around the involvement of Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The Liverpool right-back has been left out of the last England squad and looks to be one of the players set to miss Euro 2020.
But despite the interest in England’s full-backs, Neville, when answering a Q&A on his Twitter account this morning, believes Manchester City have the best two in that position anyway as things stand.
This year Cancelo or Walker https://t.co/JtVVW7hR5R

Cancelo has been particularly impressive at City this term. Deployed as a full back but playing more like a central midfielder at times, he has been crucial to City’s dominance in the Premier League.
Walker, meanwhile, has played himself back into the England fold and looks a certainty for the summer. His ability to play central defence, also something Gareth Southgate will have in mind.
TBR View: Neville is probably right here, especially with Cancelo
Walker has always caused debate because of his errors at the back at times. But in Cancelo, you have a genuinely world class right-back who can also slot in across the pitch.
Neville is probably pained to pick two City players but it will spark yet more debate and Carragher will no doubt have something to say in response.
But in fairness to Neville here, he isn’t wide of the mark at all in his thoughts.
