Gary Neville has now admitted that one current Manchester United player can do something he never had in his skill set.
Neville, who played for Man United 602 times, winning 12 league titles, certainly knew what it took to win a game of football.

The pundit remains one of the best right-backs the Premier League and England have ever seen, also earning 85 caps for his country.
There’s no doubt that Neville was an accomplished player, so when he admits an 18-year-old can do something he never could, it should probably grab a bit of attention.
And when speaking on The Overlap today, Neville pointed out something that Kobbie Mainoo had in his game which was quite extraordinary.
Neville spoke at length about Mainoo, complimenting his involvement with England and discussing some of his positional traits – music to the ears of United fans.
Gary Neville admits Man United player Kobbie Mainoo can do something he never could
And when speaking on the podcast, Neville admitted that the United player was able to recover the ball in a way he could only dream of.
He explained: “The one thing for me that is absolutely in all of those players – [Michael] Owen, [Jude] Bellingham – is temperament.
“From the first games, I think his first three games were away at Anfield, St. James’ Park and Goodison Park, you can’t play at those grounds when you have 50 games without having real difficulties, with nervousness, anxiousness and going under.
“He literally in those three games felt like he was at home.

“Last night when I was watching England play, it felt like for the first time, and I’m not going to say ever because that might be too strong, but it felt like I was watching a Brazilian or Portuguese midfield in the way they were rotating.
“When we say is he a holding midfield player the answer is yes and no because when he goes back to defend his own box his positions are fantastic and his awareness of danger and runs into the box are incredible for a young player.
“But there was also a moment when [Jeremy] Doku got past him in the second half and he got back and slid in and got the ball back off him and he has that about him.
“If me and you were playing against Doku, once he has gone, we are not getting back and we’d drop off him. He will go and think I will take the ball off Doku, there’s very few players like that.”
Kobbie Mainoo deserves to start for England at the Euros this summer
Of course, with all of this noise swirling around Mainoo’s ability and potential right now, it will be hard to keep his feet on the ground.
But it seems that Mainoo’s England minutes have demonstrated his calm mentality too, a player who isn’t getting phased by the challenge, nor is he getting carried away.
The Manchester United youngster is a huge talent, and a player that the likes of Gary Neville will enjoy watching for years to come.
All that being said, it seems Erik ten Hag’s side are now leading the race to sign another big young English talent.
