Liverpool beat Chelsea 2-1 at the weekend, but it was far from a dominant performance from the Reds.
Indeed, Chelsea gave Liverpool a real run for their money on Sunday, and, on another day, things could’ve gone another way.
A lot of Liverpool’s key player stepped up in this game. Mohamed Salah got a goal and an assist, while Curtis Jones had an incredible game.
However, speaking on Stick To Football, Gary Neville has noted that one Liverpool player didn’t look right during the Chelsea game.
Indeed, Neville says that it looked like something was up with Andy Robertson at left-back, claiming that while the Scot is usually a brilliant defender, something looked up on Sunday.

Gary Neville says Andy Robertson didn’t look right
Neville shared his verdict on the £8m man’s performance against Chelsea.
Robertson was far from a liability, but most of Chelsea’s good work came down that side as Noni Madueke was able to get in behind on numerous occasions.
Neville took note of Robertson’s performance, claiming that he wasn’t playing at his usual level this weekend.
“I thought Andy Robertson last week, I thought there was something up with him. He’s a brilliant defender, but last week,” Neville said.
Liverpool have been linked with Rayan Ait-Nouri
Andy Robertson was recently ranked as one of the best players in the world, but he’s a declining force in this Liverpool team.
Robertson has been an absolutely incredible servant for Liverpool over the years, but, sadly, Father Time remains undefeated.
Robertson is now the wrong side of 30, and an ultra-energetic player such as himself is bound to slow down at that point.
There’s been a lot of chat about Liverpool needing a new centre-back, but perhaps left-back should also be a priority position in the transfer window in the near future.
Rayan Ait-Nouri has recently been linked to Liverpool, and perhaps the Reds would be wise to pursue that deal next summer as Robertson may need to be slowly phased out of this team.
It’s not time to completely write Robertson off as a player, but this is a situation that Liverpool will have to address at some point in the near future.
