After a drab affair between Manchester United and Liverpool this evening, Gary Neville perhaps thought two forwards were at fault.
Neither Jurgen Klopp or Erik ten Hag’s side did enough to break the deadlock, and ultimately neither team seemed too satisfied with the draw, even if it looked a better clean sheet for United.

And with both teams struggling to score, or create any real moments of excitement, rare opportunities needed to be taken.
Moreover, when watching the game for Sky Sports, Gary Neville was disappointed to see Rasmus Hojlund fail to do better with a big chance in the second half.
In fact, Neville went on to compare the misfiring United forward to a familiar face in the Liverpool front line.
He said: “You talk about waiting for big moments in matches and Hojlund has just had his. United have strung two or three passes together, good play.
“[Hojlund] takes it onto his right foot off his left, and that’s where that little bit of composure, that little bit of class, polishing that diamond that he is Hojlund, he’s got real physical strength and capacity.
“But he’s not a finisher, similar to [Darwin] Nunez in that respect, needs two or three chances to get one [goal].”

Of course, both United and Liverpool fans will probably still be pleased to have both strikers in their ranks.
Although not regularly scoring right now, both forwards do seem to have big potential in their own regard.

The £72m spent on Hojlund is a high price, but the 20-year-old could easily still hit a massive growth curve.
Moreover, Gary Neville already pointed to some of the excellent characteristics he already possesses right now.
Liverpool’s Nunez on the other hand, a few years ahead, looks so close to the finished article, a player bursting with promise.
However, it once again didn’t come to fruition for him against United, and some now feel that Klopp may not win the title with Nunez as his number nine.
And although that may be harsh, Neville might agree after this all round wasteful performance for both Liverpool and United today.
