Gary Neville has told The Gary Neville Podcast that he is now convinced that Liverpool are going to win the Premier League title this season following their 7-0 win at Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Jurgen Klopp’s men now sit four points clear at the top of the table. And the past seven days arguably have the potential to go down as a pivotal week in their season.

They beat previous league leaders Tottenham in midweek. And they followed that up with an emphatic win at Selhurst Park at the weekend.
What was particularly frightening about their performance was that the Reds were not at their best for some of the game. They came under pressure during the first-half.
And remarkably, they actually only had eights attempts on target throughout the game. And yet, they produced one of the most emphatic wins in their history.

Neville admitted that it was not easy for him to watch as the result left him certain that it will be Klopp’s men lifting the trophy once again come the end of this campaign.
“I think the first half an hour of the game was the best half an hour for Liverpool because that’s where I think Crystal Palace were playing well. And yet, Liverpool just cut through them a couple of times and did what teams that win championships do,” he told The Gary Neville Podcast.
‘I am convinced’
“They hang on in there in moments in the game where it’s not good for them. But then they go and turn it up a notch and go and deliver and score. And they did that in the game. It was a painful one, one that I didn’t enjoy watching towards the end because you’re looking at a team, and you’re looking for characteristics of a title-winning team.
“I am convinced that they’re going to win the league. You look at what they’ve got, what they’re doing, the way that they’re playing, there’s no let up. And I think I’ll be very surprised if any team got near to them.”
It did seem like Liverpool had experienced a blip recently, drawing with Midtjylland and Brighton. But they have responded in incredible fashion.
And it is becoming increasingly difficult to argue with those who, like Neville, now think Liverpool are on course for their second league title.
