Arsenal’s poor form in the Premier League continues, and Mikel Arteta is now under big pressure to get the team back on track.
Spurs allowed the Gunners to have the lion’s share of possession, and picked their moments to strike in what was a classic Mourinho display in many ways.
Arsenal simply couldn’t find a way through Spurs’ brilliant defence, and Neville couldn’t help but gush over the England international.

He said during the latter stages of the game during Sky Sports’ coverage: “He’s stepping up. He’s getting more confident by the week.
“I think he called it at the start of the season ‘I want to play centre-back. I’ve had enough of being shifted around’.
“He’s got pace, he’s a good leader. Good character, good on the ball. He’s being helped by the system, let’s be clear.”
Neville later added that he found it difficult to choose between him and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg for man-of-the-match, with the latter just edging it.
