Gary Neville remains convinced Arsenal will drop away from the title race, despite going four points clear after winning 1-0 at Leeds today.
The Gunners ensured their good form continued as Bukayo Saka scored the winning goal at Elland Road. With City losing at Liverpool, Arsenal now find themselves clear and away for the first time this season.

Of course, in recent seasons we’ve become accustomed to seeing Arsenal drift away and in the main, their battle is to get into the top four above all else. And while Arsenal fans will be delighted to be top, Neville told Sky Sports after today’s games he still feels City will romp clear in the end.
“I still think they will (City will run away with the title). I don’t think today changes it, this is a freak game playing at Anfield. I still think City will run away with it and I think Arsenal will come back towards Tottenham, Chelsea, United and Newcastle. This season is a different season as well. Post World Cup it could be completely different to what it is now.”
Arsenal will be happy enough with Neville’s assessment. Mikel Arteta wasn’t expected to challenge for the title this season so if they can stay under the radar and simply keep winning, that will suit him down the ground.
TBR’s View: Arsenal Keeping On Going
Neville’s point here is well balanced as usual and there are a lot of factors to consider in this current season.
However, the longer it goes on with Arsenal at the top, then the more confident those down in North London will be.
All the Gunners can keep doing is winning games. Sure, there’ll be blips for them this season but right now, they look every bit the title challenger.
