Gary Neville has admitted on Twitter that Everton are starting to really frustrate him due to the fact they are throwing away points at pivotal moments.
The Merseyside club are still in the race for a Champions League finish this season, as a win in their game in hand will lift them to within just two points of fourth.
But there is a feeling around many at Goodison Park that they are letting a golden opportunity slip through their hands.
With plenty of the big teams inconsistent this season, there has been a real opportunity for a team to make a surprise run for the top four. It’s West Ham right now in fourth seizing that.
Everton have been around the European race all season, but recent results have dented their progress to mean they currently sit eighth.
A late Michy Batshuayi goal on Monday meant they drew 1-1 with Crystal palace, while before the international break they suffered back-to-back league defeats against Burnley and Chelsea.
Pundit and ex-Manchester United defender Neville has revealed that Everton are “annoying” him at this present moment.
“I’ve switched off on them. Annoying me that they keep letting themselves down at key moments,” he wrote on his personal Twitter account.

If Neville is getting frustrated and turning the television off watching Everton, imagine how their supporters feel.
They still have nine games remaining to make it a very special campaign, but at the same time it’s in danger of petering out if they don’t get their act together very quickly.
It’s crucial they get three points in their next match against Brighton, before they face north London duo Tottenham and Arsenal back-to-back.
