Gary Lineker believes that Tottenham and Liverpool are both about to complete some incredible signings, with widespread speculation that Gareth Bale and Thiago are moving to the Premier League during this summer transfer window.
BBC Sport has claimed that Real Madrid’s attacker Bale is flying to England on Friday (today) and will complete a return to former club Spurs.
The 31-year-old Welshman is expected to be back in English football, with talkSPORT adding that he will be at the club’s training ground on Friday afternoon to join on a season-long loan.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports claims that midfielder Thiago Alcantara will be joining Premier League champions Liverpool from current Champions League holders Bayern Munich.
The report explains that the 29-year-old is arriving on Merseyside on Friday to wrap up a deal and Liverpool will pay £20million across a four-year contract.
Match of the Day pundit Lineker has hailed the two imminent deals for Bale and Thiago on Twitter, as he believes they will be brilliant additions to the Premier League.
Seems clear that both @GarethBale11 and @Thiago6 are both coming to the Premier League. Great news for both Spurs and Liverpool….and indeed for all fans of the game in this country. Wonderful players. 👏🏻👏🏻

TBR’s View – Both big-name signings
If Bale can get back to anywhere near the standard he was when he left Spurs in 2013, then Jose Mourinho’s side are going to look dynamite going forward with such quality options.
The left-footed attacker has had a difficult spell at Madrid under manager Zinedine Zidane, but has achieved so much in his career already and is tailor-made for Premier League football.
Meanwhile, Thiago is exactly the type of world-class signing that Liverpool have needed this window to send out the statement that they are serious about defending their league crown.
He was a vital part of the Bayern side that were the champions of Europe last season and he should add a touch of class to the Liverpool midfield.
They are both two big-name players that have achieved a lot in European football and have the potential to be superstars in the upcoming league season.
