Arsenal have once again put in a fine display of football and finishing as they take a lead into the second half at Bournemouth this evening.
The Gunners were once again quick out of the blocks and two goals from Martin Odegaard had them well on their way before the clock had even ticked past 12 minutes. The Norwegian midfielder was on hand to slide home twice, although there was some good work from the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Gabi Martinelli in the build-up.

Indeed, it was the performance of Jesus in the opening 45 minutes that’s got Gary Lineker mesmerised. The MOTD host took to Twitter to praise Odegaard’s two goals, but at the same time insisted that Arsenal’s new Brazilian forward has become a bit of a Lionel Messi act!
Jesus has made a blistering start to life as an Arsenal player. Playing as a number nine, he’s given the Gunners a fresh dynamic and the goals and assists are flowing.
TBR’s View: Gabriel Jesus The Signing Of The Summer
It’s certainly looking that way at the moment. Arsenal look like they’ve pulled off a masterstroke in signing Jesus and he’s taken them to a whole new level.
His performance in the first 45 at Bournemouth has been a display of everything Arsenal signed him for in the first place.
If he continues as he is, then Lineker will be giving even more reaction later on MOTD and Premier League defences will be running scared of the former Man City man.
