Gary Lineker watched Leicester City get dismantled by Liverpool and then took to Twitter to rave about Jurgen Klopp and last night’s captain James Milner.
Liverpool won 3-0 at Anfield to draw level on points with Tottenham at the top of the Premier League.
The Reds secured the win thanks to goals from Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino and an own goal by Jonny Evans.
Leicester have already beaten Manchester City and Arsenal away from home this season but they had no answer for Liverpool.
Despite a plethora of talent currently nursing injuries, Klopp’s men did a number on their opponents to flex their title credentials once again.
Lineker claimed that Klopp deserved credit for such a performance with so many of his star players out injured.
The Match of the Day host didn’t stop there in his praise for Liverpool either.
He was also quizzed by a supporter on the influence of Milner who came in for his first Premier League start of the season.
The 34-year-old rolled back the years with an exceptional display of professionalism, leading Liverpool to a stunning win.

The Liverpool boss might have suffered some setbacks in his quest to finally lay his hands on some silverware but he’s established as arguably the finest manager in world football right now.
It’d be easy for Liverpool’s mentality to waver given their injury problems but that’s clearly not Klopp’s style.

As for Milner, he will surely have been disappointed not to have played more this season.
That said, he came in last night with aplomb and on this showing, there is plenty left in the tank too.
The Liverpool machine continues to roll on.
