Gary Lineker has now been discussing three Tottenham Hotspur signings who have all been brilliant moves by the club in recent years.
Ange Postecoglou has only been with the club for a short amount of time, but he’s already having a real influence on the side’s direction.

Postecoglou seems to have a really healthy working relationship with Daniel Levy, and the duo are making the most of each window.
Of course, this summer could be a crucial one for Tottenham, especially if they qualify for the Champions League once again.
That being said, Gary Lineker has now been praising the improvement Spurs’ recruitment team have shown of late.
Speaking on ‘The Rest Is Football’ podcast, Lineker believed that Tottenham’s signings had been below-par in the past, but the club are now definitely getting it right.
Gary Lineker names three superb Tottenham signings in recent years
Speaking on the podcast, Lineker initially began with some praise for Spurs manager Postecoglou.
He said: “He’s done a brilliant job and it’s hard going to a football club and not just trying to improve results but have an entirely different way of playing than you’d had in previous years.
“I think it’s easy to get the players to buy into playing attractive, attacking, entertaining football, but it’s one thing actually saying that, and it’s another thing doing that on the pitch without results going the other way.
“He’s improved the team massively, I think Tottenham recruitment, and I think it’s worth saying because for years I don’t think it was that great, but in recent times it’s been really exceptional.

“They’ve brought in a lot of talented players over the last year or two, starting perhaps probably with [Cristian] Romero and then you’ve got [Micky] van de Ven and [James] Maddison obviously.
“Lots of really good players they’ve bought in there and they’ve got a genuine chance of getting a Champions League spot, which I think at the start of the season would have surprised us all.”
This summer’s wishlist
With Lineker’s words in mind, it’s interesting to consider which signings Tottenham will chase this summer.
Perhaps a goal-scorer to replace Harry Kane will be on the agenda, but a superstar signing could perhaps disrupt things a little.
That being said, Fabrizio Romano has now been explaining that someone at Tottenham absolutely loves a £70m forward who’s having an excellent season in the Premier League.
It’s going to be a busy summer in North London, and Spurs fans can sit confident that the club will get their business right once again.
