Tottenham Hotspur endured another bad day at the office on Thursday night as they fell to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Chelsea.
Jose Mourinho’s charges have now lost their last three Premier League games in a row.
Liverpool, Brighton and now the Blues have all claimed three points against Spurs in the past week.

Chelsea dominated for most of the game, and took the lead on 24 minutes through Jorginho’s penalty, won after Eric Dier fouled Timo Werner.
Tottenham were especially poor in the first half, and even though they improved a little after the interval, they couldn’t find a way back into the game.
During the game, Lineker joked about whether Frank Lampard should take over at Spurs:
NME senior reporter and “optimistic Spurs fan” Nick Reilly then asked Lineker whether he fancied the gig, to which he replied:
All jokes aside, Spurs’ major drop in form, with dismal performances yielding poor results, is seriously concerning, the team now eighth in the table and seven points adrift of the top four.
Up next for Tottenham is Sunday’s home meeting with struggling West Bromwich Albion, and the pressure is on for both managers.
