Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison has been praised by Gary Lineker for his impressive Champions League debut on Wednesday night.
Spurs hosted Marseille at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in their Group D opener.
Antonio Conte’s charges took a while to get into the game, however.

Tottenham struggled in the first half, with the visitors largely dominating proceedings.
However, Chancel Mbemba’s red card early in the second half provided a big boost for Spurs.
Spurs looked brighter as the second half went on, with substitute Dejan Kulusevski injecting some pace.
And then, Tottenham made the breakthrough in the 76th minute, Richarlison heading home from Ivan Perisic’s delivery.
Lineker immediately took to Twitter with his reaction:
Then, Richarlison made it two not long after, peeling away at the back post to connect with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s delivery.
The ball went in off the post, cue bedlam in the crowd.
And Lineker took to Twitter again, praising Richarlison for his “brace of excellent headers”.
Richarlison, eyeing up his hat-trick, then glanced a free-kick wide from six yards with two minutes remaining.
Though Marseille pushed hard for a consolation, Spurs held on for a 2-0 win.
