Leeds United received a humbling reminder of their status as a newly promoted Premier League club earlier today as their fierce rivals Manchester United put them to the sword at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils ran away with a 6-2 victory against Marcelo Bielsa’s men to move into third position in the Premier League table.
Leeds once again were far too open at the back and whilst their fluid nature of attacking makes them an exciting team to watch, it has clearly also made them an easy team to attack.

The Whites have had several games like this already this season, including against lesser teams such as Crystal Palace.
It was something BBC Match of the Day presenter and former England international Gary Lineker was quick to point out on Twitter this evening as he prepared to review the Leeds fixture.
Leeds fans are now fully aware of their status as the Premier League entertainers. But in games against United, Palace, Leicester City, and Liverpool, their attacking fervour has left them defensively lacking.
Whilst most would agree that Leeds should have enough of that attacking prowess to avoid relegation in their first season back in the top-flight it still might be an area where Leeds need to improve if they want to start climbing the Premier League ladder.
But given Bielsa’s stubbornness, it is hard to imagine Leeds changing their playing style anytime soon.
