BBC pundit Garth Crooks has raved about Tottenham star Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg after a 2-0 win for Jose Mourinho’s team against Arsenal yesterday afternoon.
The Danish midfielder was in fine form as Spurs enjoyed a comfortable afternoon in front of 2000 spectators inside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Hojbjerg has been a quality signing for Mourinho and he’s been the brains of his team during their rise to the top of the Premier League.

Crooks was impressed with his performance yesterday and named him in his Team of the Week on the BBC Sport website.
Speaking on his performance, he said: “I didn’t think much of the signing of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the first place to be perfectly honest and I wasn’t sure he was a Tottenham player.
“What has become increasingly obvious is that here is another Mourinho player. Hojbjerg is looking like the real deal in a side that is more interested in being solid than pretty football.
“To be fair, Tottenham’s style of play at home against Arsenal wasn’t as bad as I thought it might be under Mourinho. Hojbjerg had Willian in his pocket for much of the game.”
TBR View – Hojbjerg arguably the signing of the summer
The 25-year-old has been nothing short of a revelation since checking in at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Hojbjerg earns £100,000-a-week in North London and Crooks won’t have been the only one to question his signing in the summer.

Mourinho described the player as ‘phenomenal’ after the game, with the 25-year-old stealing the show with his performance.
It’d take a brave man to back against Tottenham winning the Premier League on current form, with their form showing no signs of wavering.
With Hojbjerg pulling the strings, silverware could soon be making his way to the white half of North London.
