Garth Crooks has labelled Tottenham’s Harry Kane as “unselfishly brilliant” after his latest performance.
Spurs continued their strong form at the weekend with a comprehensive 4-1 home victory against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
It was England captain Kane who was at the centre of the team’s success.
The 27-year-old striker assisted teammate Gareth Bale twice, plus got two goals of his own as well.
He played a direct role in each of Spurs’ goals on Sunday and it goes to show how key he is in the XI.
BBC pundit Crooks included the in-form centre-forward in his Premier League team of the week and highlighted his unselfish work to set up Bale on a couple of occasions.
“The two assists for Bale were unselfishly brilliant, while his first goal was simply sensational,” Crooks told BBC Sport.

TBR’s View:
It’s great to see Kane add even more depth to his game this season, as he’s morphed into this creative playmaker that has great vision in the final third and is involved in everything going forward.
He’s now remarkably got 16 assists across all competitions this campaign and looks the complete player.
Kane set up teammate Bale for both of his goals at the weekend and he can be unselfish if he sees someone in a better position, which is not a trait that all great forwards have.
Fortunately, it’s not limited his work in front of goal, as he’s now up to 24 goals across all competitions this season.
