Nottingham Forest winger Arvin Appiah has had an excellent week. The 17-year-old has been in fine form for England during a Four Nations tournament in Spain. He featured as England won the tournament, which also contained the Republic of Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands. England drew 2-2 with the Netherlands in their first fixture, before going on to beat both the Republic of Ireland and Belgium 3-1.
Appiah featured in all three games and found the net in the win over Belgium.

His performances have caught the eye of former Arsenal and England striker Ian Wright, who spoke of his talent on BBC Radio 5 Live this week.
“Southgate’s got to be aware of him and I’m sure he will be. Gareth is going to be all over everybody now, especially at that age group.”
Nottingham Forest fans have long known of Appiah’s talents and it is no surprise there are now people tipping him for a future with the England senior set-up.
The speedster scored against Burton Albion in the EFL Cup earlier this season and Nottingham Forest fans have high hopes for the teenager.
However, he has not yet had a chance in the Championship this term. Appiah has not even featured in a matchday squad at the weekends. Aitor Karanka was criticised at previous club Middlesbrough for not giving younger players a chance and his treatment of Joe Worrall and Ben Brereton might hint at a familiar strategy.
Nottingham Forest are currently in great form but it would certainly be good to see Appiah given a fair chance in the first-team before the season is up.
