Gareth Bale’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, has said it is entirely possible that the Tottenham man returns to Real Madrid, as long as the club wants him.
Bale has struggled to get going since sealing a loan return to north London in the summer. Just a handful of starts and goals and sporadic appearances off the bench have led some to believe the Welshman might well be past his best.

Indeed, there has also been murmurings of a potential bust up with Jose Mourinho, although this is something Barnett has rubbished.
And speaking to Goal, Barnett has admitted that Bale’s future is open and didn’t rule out a return to Spain.
“He still loves Madrid. He hasn’t problems with the club, it’s a wonderful club. It wouldn’t be a problem for him to return,” Barnett said.
“They just have to decide if they need him back, if he can play for Madrid and all these things. I guess you have to ask Mr. Zidane if he wants him, I don’t think so.”

Bale is on huge money in Madrid. He had been outcasted from the first-team under Zidane, before moving to Spurs in the summer.
But Barnett says that is not the case with Bale and Mourinho, citing the pair as having ‘a good relationship’.
TBR View: Bale not looking likely to stay at Spurs in all honesty, another move likely
Bale is probably going to be looking for another club this summer. He’s simply not done it since coming back to Spurs and whilever Zidane is in charge of Madrid, it’s unlikely he makes a splash there either.
It’s a big shame, too. The Welshman is a mercurial talent who has delivered previously. Hopefully, he can show some glimpses between now and the end of the season.
