Pundit Janusz Michallik has shared whether he believes that Tottenham Hotspur or Arsenal have the better squad when everybody is fit and available.
Only one point currently separates Arsenal and Tottenham in the Premier League table right now. It was Ange Postecoglou‘s men who led the way in the opening weeks of the campaign, playing an exhilarating brand of football.
But Spurs then suffered a couple of significant injuries, with James Maddison and Micky van de Ven both sidelined for the rest of the year after the dramatic loss to Chelsea in early November.
Janusz Michallik thinks Tottenham are now better than Arsenal
Arsenal then seemed to take charge. And Mikel Arteta‘s men were top of the league on Christmas Day. However, the Gunners have now lost their last two.

Arsenal have fallen to fourth in the table, five points behind Liverpool, and one ahead of Spurs. And speaking on ESPN, Janusz Michallik suggested that he believes that Postecoglou’s men actually have the greater potential.
“I feel if they have everybody available, they’re better than say, Arsenal. They are. They’re deeper. They’re better. They have game-changers all over the pitch,” he said.
No doubt which team is more entertaining
Obviously, there are going to be a number of Arsenal fans who strongly disagree with Michallik’s view. The Gunners came agonisingly close to winning the Premier League title last season. And they have been within touching distance of the summit for much of this campaign without being at their best.
Tottenham have certainly surprised a lot of people with their form since losing Maddison and van de Ven. Even during their losing run, they were often the better side in games.
Maddison was potentially the best player in the Premier League in the early weeks of the season. But others have stepped up in his absence.
Arsenal supporters will argue that what they did last season shows that there is a lot more to come from this squad.
But on this season’s evidence, there is absolutely no doubt which team is more entertaining to watch right now.
