Some Everton fans were reacting after a report emerged over Christophe Galtier.

According to BeFoot, the figure has reached an agreement with Nice over their vacancy. However, it is thought to have put off the Blues, who are in talks with the Frenchman’s representatives.

Galtier is a free agent after leaving Lille at the end of last season.The 54-year-old led Les Douges to their first Ligue 1 title since 2011

Meanwhile, the Merseysiders are without a manager after Carlo Ancelotti left the club for Real Madrid. Nuno Espirito Santo, Andrea Pirlo and Rafa Benitez are also thought to be candidates for the role.

The likes of Mason Holgate, Ben Godfrey, Richarlison and Tom Davies have an abundance of ability.

However, the lack of stability can definitely harm their progress at Everton.

Three managers in less than two years is hardly the perfect breeding ground for any sort of consistency, especially for youngsters.

Galtier has shown during his time with Lille he has the ability to handle the developement of young players.

Appointing Galtier the Everton manager would be a coup for the Blues.
