Gabriel Martinelli gets flung about in Brazil World Cup training, £52m Manchester United star loves it
Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli appears to be enjoying himself at the World Cup.
After squeezing into Tite’s squad, he’s made three appearances for the Selecao in Qatar.
A tweet shared by sportv has shown Martinelli joking around with his teammates in training.
Martinelli is the youngest member of the Brazil squad, and has plenty of players to look up to.
The likes of Neymar and Vinicius Jr. are already at the very top of their game, despite the latter only being a year older than Martinelli.
With model professionals like Thiago Silva in the group as well, Martinelli will certainly benefit from the experience.
Martinelli has six senior caps, but has yet to score his first international goal.
If he can break that duck before leaving Qatar, he may well end up returning to north London with a winner’s medal around his neck.
He was initially joined in the squad by club teammate Gabriel Jesus.
However, Jesus has since had surgery after sustaining a knee injury.
It could mean that Martinelli’s role at club level changes to accommodate for the 25-year-old’s absence.

In the pictures shared by sportv, Martinelli is being held up in the air by each of his limbs.
One of his coaches and Bremer has his arms, while Real Madrid man Eder Militao and £52m Manchester United midfielder Fred have his legs.
Despite the uncompromising experience, Martinelli does appear to be enjoying himself.
His Brazilian teammates have been impressed with his performances in Qatar too.
Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker was very pleased with his cameo against South Korea.
Thiago Silva has called Martinelli ‘special’, and has clearly liked what he’s seen from the Arsenal man in training.
The most important thing for Mikel Arteta will be seeing Martinelli returned from the tournament fully fit.
Losing Jesus is already a massive blow, to lose Martinelli too would be very difficult to deal with.
