Arsenal News: Gabriel and Mudryk follow each other on Instagram in hint transfer is done
As Arsenal seem to be heading towards getting a deal done for Mykhaylo Mudryk, it seems the Arsenal players are touching base with their new signing.
Mudryk is said to be close to a transfer to Arsenal. The Times reporting last night how a deal worth around £80m is heading for completion.
For Arsenal, it will bring an end to one of longest running sagas of the winter so far. Mudryk has been touted as a signing for Arsenal since way before Christmas. At one point, it looked like Chelsea might get in there and pip the Gunners. But in the end, it seems Edu and Mikel Arteta have won out.
And over on Instagram, the hints about a deal being done just keep on coming. This time, in the form of Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes and Mudryk ‘following’ each other on the social media platform.
As we can see, Gabriel follows a number of people but it’s his current Arsenal teammates who top the pile and dominate his following list on Insta.
Mudryk, it seems, has been given the seal of approval from the Arsenal defender. It seems an announcement, then, is only a matter of time.
TBR’s View: Mudryk to Arsenal seems all but done
Eagle-eyed fans love to pick up on things like this and Arsenal supporters will see Gabriel and Mudryk’s little interaction here as a sign of things to come.
Social media is big in the modern game and there has to be a reason why Gabriel and Mudryk have suddenly decided to follow each other like this.
In fairness to Mudryk, he’s used his social media platforms brilliantly in this whole saga. Arsenal fans have lapped it up, and if anything, it’s helped build the suspense over what will be a huge transfer deal.
