Gabriel Agbonlahor feels only two of Tottenham Hotspur’s players who are available for selection on Sunday would get into Aston Villa’s side.
The former Aston Villa skipper was speaking on talkSPORT this morning and looked ahead to this weekend’s clash between Unai Emery’s side and Tottenham.
Spurs have been hit with several injuries and suspensions of late, with Micky van de Ven and James Maddison set to be out until the new year.
Cristian Romero and Yves Bissouma will also miss Sunday’s game due to suspension, while Destiny Udogie will return following his red card against Chelsea.
And with several key players missing, Agbonlahor has named Son Heung-Min and Udogie as the only two available Spurs men who’d get into Emery’s side.

Agbonlahor names the two fit Spurs players who get into Villa’s starting XI
Speaking on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor named his combined Tottenham and Villa starting XI from the players who are available this Sunday.
“I think they’ll [Villa] finish above Spurs. Anyway, this is my Villa and Spurs XI from players who are available for this Sunday’s game,” the pundit said.
“I’m going Martinez in goal. Matty Cash right-back. Konsa and Torres are my centre-halves. Udogie for Spurs as my left-back.
“Luiz, McGinn and Kamara as my three midfielders. Son on the left, Diaby on the right and Watkins up front.
“So only two Spurs players make my combined XI from players available this Sunday.”
He added: “Maddison, Van de Ven, Romero and Bissouma are not available. So, I think everyone would agree with that XI I named there.”
You’d imagine that Romero, Van de Ven, Bissouma and Maddison would all make Agbonlahor’s combined XI if they were available.
But there are still some noticeable absentees in terms of current Tottenham players who will feature on Sunday.

Indeed, Guglielmo Vicario has excelled between the sticks for Spurs this season and on current form, he’s arguably outperforming Emiliano Martinez.
Leaving Dejan Kulusevski out was also a big call from Agbonlahor, but Mousa Diaby has excelled for Villa since his summer switch from Bayer Leverkusen.
Pedro Porro has also been a consistent performer for Spurs this season while Matty Cash has been in equally as good form.
Spurs will be up against it this weekend as they are missing three of their most important players in Romero, Van de Ven and Maddison. But in our view, they still have enough quality in the side to pick up a result.
