'Future superstar': Some fans wowed by Liverpool 18-year-old's national display, he's an 'RB Robbo'
Liverpool have a “future superstar” in their ranks at Anfield.
This is according to some Northern Ireland fans, who reckon Reds gem Conor Bradley has a bright future ahead of him.
The 18-year-old has come through the ranks at Liverpool and has been described as a potential future Andrew Robertson.
Bradley was part of pre-season training with Liverpool and played a number of summer friendlies, including against Osasuna at Anfield.
“(Jurgen Klopp) is very pleased with him, don’t worry,” NI boss Ian Baraclough said in August.
“Speaking to the Liverpool management and staff, they’re really happy with how Conor has developed during pre-season as well.”
Bradley has yet to make his senior Liverpool debut, but he has already won three caps for Northern Ireland.
And last night’s cap was arguably the most significant one as it came in a competitive game.
Bradley came off the bench with 22 minutes to go in the World Cup qualifying draw with Switzerland.
This made him the first Liverpool player to win a competitive NI cap since Elisha Scott 88 years afo.
Bradley did well and got a huge roar from the Windsor Park crowd when he chased down a lost cause and got a block in.
Needless to say, Northern Ireland and Liverpool fans raved about him on Twitter:

A draw probably not a lot of use in the grand scheme of things, but NI deserve a lot of credit for these three games with the quality of player we were missing. Hopefully something to build on.— Ian Cahoon (@iancbabble) September 8, 2021
Young Conor Bradley looks like a real prospect.
Big up to Conor Bradley again tonight.— Cagey (@Grobiest) September 8, 2021
Doesn’t look out of place whatsoever. #WorldCupQualifiers
Great performance from the young lads. @dg_ballard is successor in waiting for Jonny Evans, Conor Bradley will get 100 caps for NI, Lavery was really good and I thought at the time of the transfer that Ali McCann was too good for PNE and I stand by that. Davis and BPF excellent— Dave Andrews (@daveandrews205) September 8, 2021

⚽️ Great performance from @NorthernIreland tonight! The defence was immense and BPF is growing into a first class keeper. Conor Bradley has huge potential. We are starting to get some strength in depth. We may still be a little short up front but I'm still positive for the future— Marshall Gillespie (@NIStats) September 8, 2021
