Fulham supporters respond as Tottenham reportedly look to sign Joachim Andersen

A serious enquiry has reportedly been made by a Premier League club to sign on-loan Fulham defender Joachim Andersen this summer, with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United reportedly keen – and Fulham fans have had their say on Twitter.

Andersen, 24, has been in incredible form for Fulham this season – clocking up 25 appearances in all competitions for the London club. He has even been named captain despite only being on loan, with Tom Cairney sidelined through injury.

The Telegraph have claimed that an English club have asked Lyon about Denmark star, where he remains under contract. It is believed a fee of £25million is required for Andersen, with Spurs, United and Leicester City all keeping tabs on the defender.

Tottenham are in desperate need of a centre-back, with both Eric Dier and Toby Alderweireld falling down the pecking order behind Joe Rodon and Davinson Sanchez. That is, despite Sanchez making numerous errors throughout the 202021 campaign.

Fulham fans have talked about their loan star’s future, who is easily on his way to winning Fulham’s Player of the Season award. Many are desperate to keep him but some are realistic in that they probably will not be able to as bigger clubs enter the race.
