Fulham fans react to performance of Andre Zambo Anguissa during Ipswich win

The man with 15 caps for his Cameroon was in fine form.

Fulham progressed to round three of the Carabao Cup last night with a 1-0 win over League One outfit Ipswich Town and supporters were raving about Andre Zambo Anguissa.

Aleksandar Mitrovic fired the game’s only goal and gave the Cottagers some confidence after their drubbing to Arsenal on Saturday.

It was the performance of Anguissa who caught the eye though and it appears the Cameroonian might have a future at the club.

The 24-year-old was part of the club’s spending spree ahead of their last campaign in the Premier League but didn’t enjoy a great time of things.

After his £30 million transfer from Marseille (Goal), he made 22 appearances in the Premier League but was sent out to Villarreal last season.

The 39 games he played in all competitions for the Spanish side clearly did the trick because he looks like a different player now.

Anguissa came on as a substitute on Saturday and managed 69 minutes of last night’s win in the League Cup.

Following his performance, supporters were quick to react on Twitter, with many believing he could become a big player this season.

Here is a selection of Tweets from the club’s supporters regarding the performance of Anguissa against Ipswich.
