Fulham are reportedly looking to bolster their chances of an immediate return to the Premier League by raiding Leeds United for midfielder Adam Forshaw – and Fulham fans have reacted on Twitter.

The Daily Mail have claimed that the 27-year-old midfielder has been identified by new Cottagers boss Scott Parker, with doubts over the future of big-money signings Jean-Michael Seri and Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa.

Forshaw, a £4.5million signing from Middlesbrough in January 2018, has been in and out of the Leeds side since he joined the club. Last season, he made 32 appearances for the Yorkshire outfit in their promotion bid.

The Liverpool-born ace still has three years remaining on the four-and-a-half-year deal he signed in January 2018, but with Matuesz Klich, Tyler Roberts and Pablo Hernandez arguably preferred, Forshaw could be tempted to leave.

Fulham and Leeds are both joint favourites to gain promotion from the Championship come May 2020, and that may prevent Fulham from finding an agreement with Leeds in their pursuit of the ex-Everton midfielder.

But some Fulham fans are keen to see their side sign Forshaw this summer after the west London outfit were linked with a move, while others are not interested in the midfielder and want their club to look elsewhere.
