Fulham missed the opportunity to close the gap on the teams above them as they lost 2-1 to Manchester United at Craven Cottage – although Kenny Tete did earn some standout reviews from supporters.
Goals from Edinson Cavani and Paul Pogba gave United the win, despite Ademola Lookman firing the Cottagers into a surprise early lead in West London.
Fulham remain four points adrift of safety, with Burnley above them set to play Liverpool at Anfield this evening.

Despite the latest setback for Fulham the performance once again pleased Scott Parker, with Tete earning praise from the club’s fan base.
The right-back signed permanent terms in the summer and checked in at the club for an undisclosed fee, signing a four-year deal.
Tete earns £65,000-a-week at Fulham and is proving value for money in the early stages of his career at the club.
He took some time to get up to speed and after playing in two of the club’s first three games of the season, he missed the next 12 through injury.
The 13-cap Dutch international has returned for the last three games, however, and last night produced arguably his best performance.
Here is what Fulham fans were saying about the 25-year-old after his showing against the Red Devils.
