Fulham fans applaud Ademola Lookman despite defeat to Brentford

Fulham were beaten 3-0 by Championship outfit Brentford as their miserable start to the 2020/21 campaign continued.

A Marcus Forss goal and two strikes by Said Benrahma ensured Scott Parker’s woes continued in the early stages of this season.

One positive for the Cottagers was the performance of Ademola Lookman who stepped off the bench to make his debut for the club.

The 22-year-old signed on a season-long loan from RB Leipzig earlier this week and did look lively when he came on.

The Bundesliga outfit added Looman to their ranks in 2019, paying £22.5 million to secure his services (BBC).

Now, Lookman will try and make a name for himself once again in England after an underwhelming spell with Everton.

During his time at Goodison Park, he scored four goals and registered two assists from 48 appearances.

Parker will be scratching his head wondering what he needs to do in order to revive his team but Lookman at least provided a positive last night.

Fulham travel to Wolves this weekend looking for a turnaround in their fortunes.

Parker’s team have shipped 13 goals in all competitions this season and something will have to change.

With Lookman in attack they do look like creating chances to score, however, and here is what Fulham fans were saying about his performance last night.
