Fulham boss Scott Parker has been discussing his side’s 3-0 loss to Leeds United, and explained where he thinks the difference between the two sides laid.
The Cottagers lost 3-0 to Leeds at Elland Road, with Patrick Bamford, Gjanni Alioski, and Jack Harrison scoring the crucial goals.
It was a massive boost for Leeds United’s promotion hopes.

Parker was fairly happy with his side’s display and believes that Leeds were simply just the better side in the final third, as he explained to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
“We came here with a real purpose about us to go and win the game and put it to a very good Leeds side, a top Leeds team that has navigated their way around this division for a few years now and I thought we were superb in that really.
“I think ultimately over the course of the game we need to be more clinical in the areas where we do carve out these chances.
“In the first half we probably need to put one away and the efficiency of Leeds at times, certainly in the second half as well, for all our chances and their’s really, they were more efficient in the final third. I think that was the run of it.”
Leeds United fans will no doubt be pleased that, for once, this was the case. If the Whites had won some of the games they have dominated this season but failed to be ruthless in the final third, then Leeds would probably already be assured of a Premier League place next season.
Leeds were certainly more formidable in attack on this occasion then they have been at times this season and it certainly paid off against their promotion rivals.
If the West Yorkshire side can keep up that sort of form for the rest of the season, then Bielsa and co will surely be celebrating a promotion back to the top-flight come the end of the campaign.
