‘Stop it’: Fulham fans rave about Anthony Knockaert in pre-season draw

Fulham were relegated back to the Championship last season and the challenge for Scott Parker is to ensure a swift top-flight return.

Their recruitment so far has been fantastic.

The two players who have been added are proven promotion winners in Ivan Cavaleiro and Anthony Knockaert.

Both players will supply the ammunition for Aleksandr Mitrovic, who signed a new deal at the start of the month (The Sun).

The signing of Knockaert from Brighton on a season-long loan has only served to enhance the club’s promotion credentials.

Last season he played 30 Premier League games for the Seagulls, helping Chris Hughton’s men towards top-flight survival.

It was anticipated that the 27-year-old would be part of Graham Potter’s team this season – but that hasn’t proved the case.

Knockaert is already making an impression on his new club.

In last night’s friendly against Oxford United, he netted a scrumptious free-kick to delight a new army of supporters.

The Fulham faithful were delighted with the Frenchman’s contribution and will surely relish the chance to see him perform in the Championship.
