Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after seeing what Marseille tweeted about Matteo Guendouzi on Thursday.

What’s the story?

Well, the Ligue 1 outfit recently signed the 22-year-old on loan from Arsenal, where they hold a £10m option to buy the Frenchman.

In that respect, if he does well, Guendouzi will most likely be leaving the Emirates Stadium, in our view.

On Thursday, after the Poissy-born maestro played in a pre-season friendly for Marseille, the club posted footage of him showing his skills.

The 10-second clip showed Guendouzi tidily nutmegging an opponent in the middle of the park.

However, it all comes to nothing after he immediately misplaces his pass.

As a few Arsenal fans down below have pointed out, Guendouzi’s final ball often lets him down – one supporter described it as his kryptonite.

The 22-year-old didn’t really leave Arsenal in Mikel Arteta’s good books, so it’s important that he starts to show some progress.

One thing that would catch the Spaniard’s eye is some end product.

In our view, Arteta won’t have enjoyed watching Guendouzi lazily lose possession, especially not right in the middle of the pitch.

Despite his shortcomings, there are still some who believe in him.

One fan bemoaned the fact the Gunners don’t have anyone who can press like Guendouzi in midfield.

Another tipped the playmaker to end up at a top club in two years.

For now, let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about Marseille’s tweet…
