Fabrizio Romano has sought to reassure Liverpool fans regarding Jurgen Klopp’s future at Anfield.
The Liverpool manager has transformed the club since taking the reins in October 2015.
At the time, the Reds were far from their best, and only had a League Cup to show for their efforts that decade.

Slowly but surely, Klopp built up a Liverpool side that, within a few years, would win club football’s biggest trophies.
The 54-year-old signed a new four-and-a-half-year deal with the club in 2019.
By the time that runs out, Klopp will have been at Anfield for almost nine years.
However, the German recently reiterated that he intends to leave in 2024.
Klopp also stressed that whoever succeeds him will walk into a club that has the strongest foundations.
“He’s happy at Liverpool”
Romano, speaking on Rio Ferdinand Presents FIVE, made it clear that Klopp is 100 percent committed to Liverpool now.
He said he’s been planning for the summer window with the Liverpool board and is happy at Anfield.
And although Romano couldn’t say whether Klopp could stay on beyond 2024, he feels – stressing it’s “not news” – that Steven Gerrard could take over after he leaves.
“I’m sure Jurgen Klopp, from what I’m told from Liverpool’s board, these kinds of comments are like saying okay, I have a contract, but he’s not acting like a manager who is desperate to leave the club,” said Romano.
“He’s saying ‘my contract is until 2024 and I want to respect the contract’.

“But it’s not the message of Jurgen Klopp (being) desperate to leave Liverpool.
“He’s happy with Liverpool, Luis Diaz joined Liverpool because of Jurgen Klopp.
“He wanted the player to join immediately and he’s not acting like a manager who wants to leave.
“So 100 percent focusing on Liverpool, but yes, I think there are chances for him to try and leave in 2024 to try a new experience.
“He’s always been, from what I’ve been told, attracted by La Liga, so who knows what happens with Real Madrid, with Barcelona in the coming years.
“I’m sure many clubs will try to approach him but at the moment Klopp is only focusing on Liverpool.
“They are already planning together in the summer transfer window for the future, so that’s why Klopp is now focused on Liverpool.
“My feeling – it’s not the news – Steven Gerrard will be ready once Klopp leaves the club.”
