Daily Mail journalist Craig Hope has offered an injury update on Allan Saint-Maximin ahead of Newcastle’s clash with Bournemouth.
The Frenchman has not played since the 1-1 draw at Wolves, where he scored a late goal before coming off with a hamstring injury.
The weekend postponement means he has only missed two Premier League games so far, and Newcastle face Eddie Howe’s old club this weekend.
But it seems he is still set to be sidelined for the game, with Newcastle nursing some injury concerns going into the match.

Saint-Maximin injury update
On 2 September, Howe said that the winger was ‘close‘ to returning to action, but it seems that is no longer the case at this stage.
That is likely a source of frustration, especially given that Newcastle failed to sign a new winger during the summer transfer window.
Saint-Maximin has shown his quality this season, not only with the goal at Molineux but also with a masterclass against Manchester City.
But he needs to get his fitness back, and also then show some consistency in his performances to get to the levels we all know he can.
Newcastle will hope to have enough with which to beat Bournemouth without Saint-Maximin, although they have improved since sacking former Magpies midfielder Scott Parker.
It has been four draws in five games since the opening day win over Nottingham Forest, and Newcastle could do with getting back to winning ways.
