Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has now been discussing some advice former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson gave him in the past.
Lampard, who has now been out of a job since June of last year, seems to be biding his time when finding his next opportunity.

The 45-year-old has now had four managerial roles since retiring as a player, but has averaged less than a year in each.
It’ll certainly be intriguing to see what considers to be the right moment when he takes his next job, with some perhaps thinking he may take a position away from the Premier League.
All that being said, Lampard has now shared some advice Sir Alex Ferguson once gave him during a chat about life as a manager.
Of course, if Lampard hasn’t been so successful in that phase of his career just yet, Sir Alex is at the complete other end of the spectrum, a true Premier League great.
And when speaking in an interview with Joe, Lampard did share the three most important things Ferguson told him in order to be successful.
Frank Lampard shares three key bits of advice Sir Alex Ferguson gave him as a manager
Speaking on the podcast, Lampard was quite shocked by the advice he received when it came to dealing with the press.
He explained: “I remember when I spoke to Sir Alex Ferguson and I asked him his three most important things for a manager and it was recruitment, sleep for yourself, and media.

“I was quite surprised. Definitely not on recruitment, you need good players, sleep – I get it, he’s saying keep your energy! And media.
“I have always taken the view with media that you try and be as honest as you can.”
Of course, Sir Alex certainly knew how to manipulate a room in his and Manchester United’s favour.
Lampard has always come across as a very honest, straightforward talker, especially in his days as Everton and Chelsea boss.
But perhaps he would be better advised to be a bit more coy on occasion, deploying the occasional mind game.
Perhaps Lampard will try to instil more of Ferguson’s advice in his next role, wherever it may be.
That being said, Lampard did recently share a concern he had when he heard Mason Mount was signing for Man United.
