Gökhan Inler – Leicester City

Another target identified by Remi Garde is Swiss international Gökhan Inler, according to Sky Sports. The 31-year-old is out of favour at Leicester City and is understandably eager to leave the Foxes to acquire more game time – something he needs to secure a place at the Euros for his native Switzerland.

The central midfielder has 89 caps for his country, but has featured in five matches for The Foxes since joining from Napoli in the summer. Villa need stability and experience in midfield and there is no question that Inler has the quality to sure up and strengthen Garde’s struggling side.
