Four big name players Manchester City should sell this summer

Samir Nasri

Like Mangala, Nasri spent last season on loan in Spain, but with Sevilla as oppose to Valencia. Nasri’s role in the Man City squad has decreased significantly over recent seasons, and an exit looks on the cards this summer.

At 29 years of age, the ex-Arsenal man still has more to give and could have a positive impact for any team, like he did with Sevilla last season, who ended up fourth in La Liga. The only stumbling block is the Frenchman’s huge wage packet that means less financially able clubs aren’t able to sign Nasri as easily.

Wilfried Bony

Bony was another City loanee last season and he spent the year in England at Stoke. It was not a good spell for the Ivorian as he only featured ten times for the Potters, with the likes of Jonathan Walter, Peter Crouch and Saido Berahino all being selected ahead of him.

It’s clear the ex-Swansea man is not a ‘Guardiola player’. He isn’t versatile or technical enough to lead the line and, with many better talents in the squad, Bony is certain to head for the exit door this summer.
