- EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey
After leaving Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, Eric Dier is currently on the periphery of things at Bayern Munich and could leave after his one-year deal.
Dier was in strong favour under Thomas Tuchel after arriving from Tottenham in January, but Vincent Kompany has used the centre-back more sparingly.
The 30-year-old, who might harbour hopes of an England recall with Tuchel at the helm, has made just six appearances and played 141 minutes this season.
Kim Min-jae and Dayot Upamecano have prevailed as Kompany’s favourite pairing and Dier has simply been left watching on.
Brighton, Brentford and Wolves all interested in signing Eric Dier
That being said, TBR Football understands that all of Brighton & Hove Albion, Brentford and Wolverhampton Wanderers are keeping tabs on Dier’s situation.
On his part, Dier still has some hope that he could get a new deal at the German champions.

Bayern are happy with Dier’s professionalism and are open to talks, but there won’t be any guarantees over increased game time.
As well as interest from the Premier League, Dier is also firmly on the radar of clubs from the MLS, should he choose to take his career to the United States.
As mentioned, Dier’s current deal expires in the summer of 2025, and the 49-cap international could be a bargain signing for several clubs.
Thomas Tuchel was full of praise for Eric Dier
Speaking back in April when he was still in charge of Bayern, Tuchel perhaps explained why Dier would make such an excellent signing for the likes of Brighton, Brentford or Wolves.
The now England manager said Dier had exceeded all expectations and particularly praised the positive effect he has on those playing alongside him.
Tuchel said: “I am very happy with him. He’s exceeded all expectations.
“He’s an extremely important piece of the puzzle. He’s organised, he’s vocal, we didn’t have that much.
“He helps the guy next to him, he’s a top character and a very good player. He’s being rewarded for his work at the moment.”
