Barcelona welcome Liverpool to the Nou Camp tomorrow night in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final clash.
The Reds are looking to reach their second straight Champions League final, but their former midfielder Luis Garcia fears that a masterclass from Lionel Messi could derail their hopes.
Messi ruined Manchester United in the previous round and according to Sunday People, 28/04, page 55, Garcia fears Liverpool could meet a similar fate, such is the quality of the Argentine.
Garcia said: “The difference between the two teams could be Messi. He is the one player who can do things no other player in the whole world is capable of. He just finds a way to win games.”

If Messi’s on form, Barcelona are always very hard to stop. But Barca don’t look as strong as they have in previous years – despite the presence of former Reds icons Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho.
Messi has the ability to win matches on his own but both sides should be riding high after outstanding seasons.
United were able to shake Barca up in their first leg with a very limited but frantic style of play so Liverpool should fancy their chances with their expertly coordinated pressing game.
