Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho does not want to return to English football this summer, according to Goal.
They report that the Brazilian is considering his options as his move to the Nou Camp has not worked out quite as planned but a Premier League return is not among them.
That is apparently because his family were never completely settled in England and that appears to rule out an emotional return to Liverpool, the club he left in January 2018.
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly loitering with interest and are the most plausible option. Coutinho could link up with his international team-mate Neymar at Parc des Princes.

There would still be space in the Liverpool midfield for Coutinho; Jurgen Klopp has never quite replaced his guile and creativity at the heart of his engine room.
But Coutinho going to PSG would be a bit of a body blow for a fanbase who could countenance the loss of such an important player to see him follow his dream of playing for one of the world’s biggest clubs alongside Lionel Messi.
A switch to Paris doesn’t have quite the same sentimentality and would likely kill all hope of bringing Coutinho back to Anfield in the future as well.
