A former Everton transfer target is seeking an exit at his club having not featured at all so far in 2019/20.
Andrija Zivkovic is reported by Jornal Record to be attempting to terminate his contract at Benfica so he can leave on a free transfer in January.
Benfica are thought not to even want to discuss the matter, in what his clearly a sticky situation.

A Bola claimed last year that Zivkovic would be interested in a move to Everton.
There appears to be some loose mutual interest, with CM Journal having reported the Toffees asked about signing the winger, and were quoted £31 million for him.
Zivkovic has four goals and 24 assists in 84 appearances for the reigning Portuguese champions.
TBR’s view – Would he improve Everton?
Perhaps Everton will go back in for Zivkovic if he gets his apparent wish of terminating his contract.

That seems very unlikely, but it would certainly seem there is some interest there from the Premier League club and it would be tempting if they could get him for nothing.
His record at Benfica though is not particularly encouraging, and Everton do have a number of wide options at the moment with Bernard back from injury soon.
