Nuno Espirito Santo has some selection dilemmas to mull over before the weekend.

Wolves are on the charge towards a successful first season back in the Premier League.

But Nuno will still have to decide his starting line-up against Crystal Palace at the weekend. His main selection dilemma comes in the attacking midfield department.

This season, Helder Costa and Diogo Jota have been the preferred choices.

But the form of super subs Adama Traore and Ivan Cavaleiro will surely have Nuno scratching his head this weekend.

Last term, Jota was the star man for Wolves, netting 17 league goals. But the 21-year-old is yet to score or assist in eight outings this season.

Costa has also had a slow start. With no goals and no assists in seven Premier League games, his only impact has been with a goal in the EFL Cup.

If you compare these two players to Cavaleiro and Traore, they have not done very well.

Traore is yet to start a league game this season. But his pace late as an impact substitute causes all kinds of problems and that earned Wolves a win away at West Ham with the 22-year-old racing through on goal and finishing.

Cavaleiro has only just returned from injury but marked his first Premier League appearance with a goal, set up by Traore’s run.

Jota and Costa need to up their game or risk being dropped for these two bench warmers.
