Everton have sprung into life in the transfer market after a very quiet past few weeks.
The Toffees are looking set to have three players coming into the club, with Napoli’s Allan, Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez and Watford star Abdoulaye Doucoure all primed to sign.
Allan and Rodriguez should be announced imminently, while an agreement worth up to £25 million was struck yesterday with the Hornets for Doucoure (BBC Sport).

The triple whammy is sending Everton fans into a frenzy on social media.
Midfield was named as a key area for improvement, and the board have definitely been busy trying to address it.
Given all three players are midfielders, it is likely there will have to be some outgoings from Goodison Park.
And one man who might actually be in need of a move on a temporary basis once the deals are confirmed, is forgotten man Jean-Philippe Gbamin.
TBR’s View – Gbamin should seek loan exit
Gbamin has had a torrid time since joining the club from Mainz last summer.
The star made just two appearances for the club after his £25 million move (BBC Sport), with injury wrecking his debut campaign.

The Ivory Coast dynamo struggled mostly with a thigh issue that required surgery, but in June the club reported the player had suffered an Achilles problem.
He supposedly won’t return to action until 2021, and the player should therefore strongly consider requesting a loan move when he is back fit.
He likely would be off the pace following such a long time out, and it is probably in his best interests to go elsewhere to get some momentum going.
And game time would surely be hard to come by with Allan and Doucoure both joining.
