Henri Saivet is very much a forgotten man at Newcastle United.
The midfielder has been out on loan at Bursaspor, having played for Sivasspor and Saint-Etienne previously.
Saivet joined Newcastle from Bordeaux in 2016 for £5 million (ESPN), but has hardly featured for the first-team since his move.

He’s only ever made six appearances for the club having struggled to break into the side, but perhaps 2019/2020 could be his time.
Following a sluggish start to his six-month stint at Bursapor, Saivet’s form has really picked up recently.
Apparently he has emerged as a vitally important player for manager Samet Aybaba, who now wants to build his team around the Senegal international according to Bursa Hakimiyet Gazetesi.
TBR’s view
With Jonjo Shelvey having been linked with a move to West Ham United (The Daily Mail) and Isaac Hayden having previously eyed a move away from the club for family reasons (The Times), Saivet may yet have a future with the Magpies.
Mo Diame’s future has also been speculated over in recent weeks, with Chronicle Live reporting United don’t want to commit to the two-year extension he is angling for.

There’s a good chance that at least one of those players will depart in the summer, freeing up space for Saivet to come in and potentially, finally, make his mark.
There are never any guarantees with Newcastle in the transfer market, and so if there are frustrations this summer then Saivet could be an option for the Magpies.
