Forest Green Rovers manager Mark Cooper has been singing the praises of Celtic loanee Jack Aitchison after his dream debut for the League Two club.
The Celtic striker was signed on loan on deadline day for League Two sides as he looks to gain some regular playing time in English football.
He entered the fray for Dylan Grubb in the second half of a close game with Cambridge United and scored just 12 minutes later to secure all three points for the visitors.

Forest Green boss Cooper told Gloucestershire Live just how impressed he was with the 19-year-old’s impact.
“We can thank our keeper for a great save and Jack Aitchison for being absolutely out of this world when he came on.
“He looked really sharp, everything we thought – it was just getting the timing right to bring him on. He won us the game.”
Celtic fans will not be surprised by Aitchison’s instant impact. The teenager scored on his Celtic debut at just 16, so is undoubtedly an exciting talent.
The question now is if he can sustain it going forward. Aitchison had loan spells at Dumbarton and Alloa Athletic last season that did not prove overly successful and the hope will be he can string together a series of impressive performances away from Celtic this season.
Based on the early evidence, Celtic might be about to benefit from a successful loan spell for their teenage talent.
