Forest fans talk £20m reports as Everton, Newcastle and Tottenham eye Johnson

Nottingham Forest star Brennan Johnson has reportedly emerged as a target for Premier League quartet West Ham, Tottenham, Newcastle and Everton – and Forest fans have discussed their star’s future on Twitter.

Johnson, 20, has returned from an impressive loan spell at Lincoln City in League One to shine for Forest. While on loan at Lincoln last term, Johnson clocked up an impressive 27 goal involvements in 48 games from out wide.

That form has continued with his boyhood club Forest, albeit in the Championship – an entire division up. Johnson has netted five times himself, and laid on four assists in 23 league games. At 20, an impressive record.

The Mail report that his form has not gone unnoticed. Premier League sides Tottenham, Newcastle, West Ham and Everton are all showing interest in the Nottingham Forest star – who is rated at £20million.

What are Nottingham Forest fans saying about Johnson on Twitter?

Johnson is a player with enormous potential. In terms of value, the attacker is English, young, and scoring goals. He is already proving himself at Championship level, looking as though he has played at that level all his life.

As he continues to grow and develop, he is certainly showing the levels of potential required to play in the Premier League. With 79 senior appearances under his belt already, he has plenty of experience for a 20-year-old.

Nottingham Forest fans have had their say, and many are of the opinion that if a £20million bid is received – then they should let Johnson join the likes of Newcastle, Everton, West Ham or Tottenham.
