Marcus Thuram wants to move to the Premier League amid interest from a host of clubs including Arsenal.

That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who told Caught Offside that the Borussia Monchengladbach forward would snub Inter Milan to move to England.

ESPN report that Premier League clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Newcastle and Aston Villa all like Thuram.

His contract is expiring at the end of the season, which also makes the man who was part of the France squad which got to the World Cup final even more enticing to suitors.

Thuram wants a Premier League move

Romano said: “The Premier League is a priority for Marcus Thuram, for sure.

“Inter Milan are interested. I’m told it’s too early to decide.

“Thuram will take his time because being a free agent in June means it’s a big opportunity for him and it can change at any time.”

Gladback paid 10 million euros (£8.8 million) for Thuram three years ago and reports have claimed they want their money back if they sell in January.

He has clearly progressed as a player in the meantime but his dwindling contract means that the Bundesliga outfit cannot command a huge fee.

It just remains to be seen who takes the plunge to try and sign him this month before he becomes a free agent in the summer, and whether Thuram will make a decision on his future now or wait until May.
