Arsenal fans have been discussing the future of Folarin Balogun on their social media channels again, after journalist Fabrizio Romano offered an update.
Despite rumours emerging yesterday that Balogun had agreed a deal with RB Leipzig, Romano took to his Twitter account to insist nothing had been agreed yet between Balogun and the German club.
Folarin Balogun has received more than 15 bids as a free agent for next summer. His contract situation with Arsenal is stalling, still complicated because he wants to play. 🔴 #AFC
RB Leipzig have *not* made an official bid to sign Balogun as of today. ⛔️ #RBLeipzig

However, it is a worrying sign for the Gunners that they cannot get their man to commit to a new deal, while the apparent interest from so many will be a cause for concern too.
Arsenal supporters, then, have been speaking on Twitter about the update and once again, a majority seem perplexed at the situation.
And while some Arsenal fans think it’s right the club allow Balogun to leave if he’s refusing to sign, others simply aren’t having it and believe the club needs to do all it can to tie him down to fresh terms.
Here’s what some Arsenal fans had to say about the latest update on Folarin Balogun.
Arsenal FC, good enough for the prime years of Henry and Bergkamp but not good enough for an unproven teenager. It’s all about the money, money, money…

Not being funny but if @fbalogun67 is holding us to ransom at his age, says a lot about the player or is it the agent? You can see we give youth a chance at our club with Saka & ESR. If he wants to trust another clubs promises then so be it, move on! We are the @arsenal 💪🏻

Arsenal should just give this guy what he wants for crying out loud. I pray it never turns out like gnabry’s saga

Sell Eddie, play Balogun. Thank you @Arsenal

Hopefully he’s going to just assess everything in the summer and not sign with anyone until then.. see if we offer him more game time
